Can anyone tell me what the above is like, while on holiday a few months ago I saw the sign (between Plett and Knysna) but never got a chance to go there. I'm wondering what I have missed and whether it is a must next time I visit.

Hey Kinda, looks like you're stuck with me on this one. I personally have not visited the Bird Farm, but know of it. I spoke with the owner to confirm they are still open. Their email address is gerhard@keyfin.co.za

They specialise in exotic birds, like parrots, parakeets, canaries etc. They do not have local birds as I am led to believe there is a law preventing this, although I personally can't see the logic in this. They are close to the Knysna Elephant Park on the Knysn-Plett N2 main road. Perhaps they can mail you more details.
